The German Patent Attorneys are members of the Patentanwaltskammer (Chamber of German Patent Attorney), Tal 29, 80331 Munich, and as far as their activities as European Patent Attorneys are concerned, the epi (Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office) Post Box 260112, 80058 Munich. The supervisory authority in charge is the Board of the Patent bar and/or the epi. The professional legal regulations for Patent Attorneys are enshrined in the Patentanwaltsordnung (PAO), the Berufsordnung der Patentanwälte (Professional Regulations of Patent Attorneys Code of Conduct), die FICPI Professional Code of Ethics and the Code of Conduct of the epi.
